PAST EVENTS
May 2nd 2026 – Ages of Pages

Jan 30th 2026 – Steffanie Holmes Book Launch
I got to go to the book launch on Friday for one of my favourite authors – the kooky, spooky, incredible Steffanie Holmes and her new book “A Grave Mistake” out in NZ/Australia this week!
It’s a cosy, paranormal romance featuring enemy vampires who were once lovers, a meddling book club, a compelling mystery and endless cups of tea.
Held at Enamoured Books in Auckland, NZ, a great turnout of Steff’s fans laughed, clapped and cheered the entertainment (fitting with the book’s FMC ) and Steff regaled us with the story of her ‘research trip’ to Paris to help with writing this story and the characters.
A fabulous evening! New books and lots of goodies. Adore the artwork!
I’ve been waiting ages for this book. I read “Fangs for Nothing”, the first in the series, in 2024 when Steff indie published it. I then re-read it after she had been picked up by one of the big publishers, and re- edited and republished the book. Now finally book 2 is here! (And book 3 is well under way). My Sunday plans are set!

December 14th 2025 A. Jane Dove Book Launch
I got to go to the book launch of Indie Author A. Jane Dove’s latest book ‘The Witchness Protection Programme’, the first in her new series. I love supporting my fellow writers and finding new books to read! To be a writer, you must first be a reader.
It was a fabulous day at The Book Exchange in Glen Eden, Auckland. I got an autographed new book and a bag full of goodies, I met some lovely authors and readers, had great coffee and cake, of course there were lots of books!
I’m looking foward to curling up on the couch soon and reading ‘The Witchness Protection Programme’
A humorous, cozy fantasy with a little spice and a curvy, over-thirty heroine.
A healing witch in hiding, a bookstore on the edge of dragon territory, a baby dragon, and a very flirtatious handyman with far too many secrets.
What more could you want?

August 15th – 17th 2025 RWNZ Conference – “Heart of a Story’
A fabulous 3 days of learning, growing and making new writer friends! Truly inspiring and great for refocusing your energy. I’m already looking forward to Conference 2026!
Had my own couple of fangirl moments too, getting to meet some of my favourite authors!
I’ve already booked out next year’s conference in the calendar ❤️
